A High-performance Roof Coating
Silicone is a single-component, moisture-cured silicone coating for commercial and industrial roof applications. The product is petroleum- and solvent-free so it is easier on the environment (and the applicators) while still offering the same functionality as traditional petroleum-based roofing materials.

The installation procedure for installing a silicone roof coating system is pretty straightforward.
A silicone roof coating system is an application where fluid is applied by spraying the silicone coating directly onto an existing commercial roof. Commercial building owners and facility managers over the years have found that a silicone roof coating system is the most sustainable and economically feasible solution for protecting any commercial roof from general wear and tear. A silicone roof coating system utilizes a single layer of silicone that is either sprayed on or rolled in liquid form adding an extra layer of protection from the harsh elements.

Extends The Life Of A Roof
Silicone is an elastomeric coating that creates a uniform, seamless surface remaining flexible even in low temperatures.
In some cases your commercial roof might require an infrared inspection to see if there are any areas that have excess saturation in the roofing membrane. If you find any saturated or problem areas they must be repaired by removal and replacement. Then the whole commercial roof surface will be power washed to remove any potential contaminants. Once the primer installation is complete, the seams of the membrane will be reinforced. Then the silicone is rolled or sprayed over the full commercial roof surface.

We’ve Passed The Tests
The last phase of the silicone roof coating system is a final inspection. Generally this is performed by a manufacturers rep or a 3rd party to verify that any repairs were done correctly and that the silicone was applied according to manufacturer specifications. Once the commercial roof repairs and silicone roof coating system are approved a final warranty is then issued by the manufacturer.

No Ponding Water Issues
Roof coatings made with acrylic, urethane or asphalt can soften under the stress of ponding water.

This can result in a coating that bubbles or peels away from the substrate; leaving a roof exposed to leaks and water intrusion. By comparison, silicone is an inert material that does not decompose – its unique chemistry creates a coating that will not degrade under ultraviolet rays or extreme weather conditions.

- High solids = no shrinkage or adhesion loss during the drying / curing process.
- Unique chemistry = High cross-link density in the cured film
- Unique chemistry = extremely hydrophobic (water repelling) silicone polymer composition.
- Humidity driven = ambient humidity actually helps drive the curing of the film. High humidity will greatly slow the drying of alternative chemistry.
