Roofing for schools, hospitals and public buildings

From our Fort Lauderdale headquarters, we’ve roofed a technical college and a hospital in the Bahamas, a medical center in Hialeah and a Fort Lauderdale Housing Authority building. The work stays on the roof, and the paperwork comes in writing.

When the building can’t close

  1. The work stays on the roof

When the old roof is sound, a silicone coating or spray foam goes right over it, with no tear-off above the rooms below. When it has failed, it comes off first and a new roof goes on.

  2. Someone you can reach

One owner wrote that our project manager was always a phone call away and that the crew explained their process every day of the job.

  3. Kept up afterward

Our inspections and maintenance program puts the roof on a schedule, so small problems are found before they become leaks.

“His crew, great quality work and they were very professional explaining their process daily. Marc was always a phone call away communicating directly with me every step of the way until the end.”

Questions

What facilities teams ask us

Ask the office(954) 782-5851 Get a Quote
Do roofing contractors need a license in Florida?

Yes. Florida licenses contractors through its Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Ours is CCC1329676, held by Polo International, Inc., active through August 31, 2028. You can look it up on the state’s licensing site.

Who should fix a leaking roof on a public building?

A licensed roofing contractor who looks at the whole roof, not just the stained ceiling tile. We inspect first, then quote the coating or the new roof in writing before any work starts.

Can the building stay open while you work?

In most cases, yes. The work happens on the roof, and we set the schedule with your facilities team before work starts.

Who pulls the permits?

We do. We apply for them once the contract is signed and see the job through to the final inspection.

Do you offer a maintenance program?

Yes. Our inspections and maintenance program is an option after any job, so the roof gets looked at on a schedule instead of after a leak.

Do you work outside Florida?

Yes. We’re headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and serve the United States and the Caribbean. Our school and hospital jobs include Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas. Tell us where your building is when you ask for a quote.

What does a roof for a school or hospital cost?

It depends on the size, what’s up there now, and whether it gets a coating, foam over it or a tear-off. We look at the roof first, then send a written quote with the price before any work starts.
