“We had an aging asphalt roof on our commercial warehouse. After having a couple leaks repaired we realized the roof was still in pretty good shape. We contacted Polo international to cover the roof with their system.”

Off, then new

When the roof underneath has failed, it comes off first. At Goodwill Industries of South Florida, the old 100,000 sq ft roof came off before the new one went on, October 2020.

If the roof is aging but dry, a coating or foam over it usually does the job. That’s what one warehouse owner found when a couple of leak repairs showed her asphalt roof was “still in pretty good shape.” If it has failed underneath, it comes off first. Florida’s 25% rule can also decide it: here’s how Florida’s 25% roof rule works.
Yes. Our inspections and maintenance program is an option after any job, so small problems get found and fixed on a schedule instead of after a leak.
It depends on the size, what’s up there now, and whether it gets a coating, foam over it or a tear-off. We look at the roof first, then send a written quote with the price before any work starts.
